MYOB is used by many companies in Vietnam. Although there are some differences between the Vietnamese and Australian accounting systems, HDE provides add-on software to assist small and medium businesses to use MYOB in Vietnam. Below are some frequently asked questions about MYOB in Vietnam.

1. Is MYOB software written in Vietnamese or English, or is it in dual-language format?

MYOB only provides an English language version. There is no local version for Vietnam. However, we have developed a customised add-on program for MYOB to assist with Vietnamese issues such as tax, and entering of Vietnamese text.

2. Is MYOB based on the Vietnamese accounting standard, or the international accounting standard?

MYOB is based on the Australian accounting standard, but it is possible to use it in Vietnam.

3. Does the tax department or the government recognise the software?

MYOB does not provide Vietnamese tax reports, however we have an add-on program to export Vietnamese tax reports.

4. What is the name of the add-on program which generates reports and exports data to the tax program?
